Forest Restoration at Cheley Camp

  • Cheley Colorado Camp Estes Park, CO, 80517 United States (map)

We have met our capacity for this talk and are not currently taking any more RSVPs.

Join us as we learn how the Cheley family made the decision to restore their forest and how their restoration efforts are working. NRCS (Natural Resources Conservation Service) will also be presenting, providing insight into the current forest restoration efforts and why returning the forest densities to their historical state is so critical to not only Cheley Camp but to the Estes Valley as well. This will be an OUTDOOR event. Attendance and seating will be limited so please register early. It is recommended that you wear proper outdoor attire, proper footwear for walking a short distance on uneven terrain. Due to limited seating, please feel free to bring your own camp chair.

FREE to the Estes Community
