It’s that time of the year when baby wildlife is abundant throughout the Estes Valley, but unfortunately, those that survive the threat of predators have to contend with the threat of vehicles.

The Estes Land Stewardship Association (ELSA) was formed in 2007 to address environmental threats to the Estes Valley and surrounding areas.

Bluebirds migrate to Estes Valley in early spring, but their numbers have been declining over the years due to loss of habitat.
